What have you learned about yourself through your role on television?
I knew I could act. The biggest lesson of the show I can think of is that we are all human and at the end of the day we are all accepting of our differences and respecting each other and we are all normal but in our own ways. It means that there is.
How do you spend your time when you are not at school?
My favorite thing to do is ride my bike into the woods and go fly fishing. We live in a peaceful and beautiful area. I often play baseball. Outfield is my favorite position. I also like drawing and I like science.
I thanked the whole child for the leg, everyone bullied him kindly. it was a big one. The writing is full of things that most people with disabilities can relate to. I’m here.

everyone loves it. Everyone says it’s a funny and relatable show. This is a program that anyone can watch. My camp friends couldn’t wait to pick up my phone and look Best foot forward.
What’s it like to talk to the real Josh (Thunkist), who plays your character’s therapist?
we are good friends I love spending time with him on and off set. He was a wonderful person and very funny.
Do you think he is a positive role model?
absolutely. Everything he’s doing on his social media, and what he’s doing on the show right now, is spreading awareness about amputees. I think what he is doing is wonderful.
What do you think of people who impose limitations on you or anyone else? There are a lot of negative people out there when it comes to children and adults with disabilities.
Well, I guess you have to prove them wrong. they can say what they want. They can tell you what you can and can’t do, but they don’t know it. And the best way to tell them I can do what they can do, or do better, is to prove them wrong.
My hashtag is always “#nolimits”. We have to prove them wrong. They don’t know what you can and can’t do.
Were you coached on set?
Yes, there was a set teacher. His name was Scott and he was awesome. They then got in touch with my school in Medford, so everything went smoothly for me. I was actually a little ahead in math, so that was good.
Why is spreading disability awareness so important to you?
Give children with amputees and disabilities a chance to get used to their bodies, to know that there are other children like them, that they can do anything other children can do, and that they are just aware. I know. Everything starts with awareness. If they don’t know it and people aren’t spreading the word, they won’t be able to do it.
Do you have any advice for people who want to go into acting, entertainment, or other difficult and competitive fields?
i would say try it. You won’t know until you try. If you really want to do something, do it. It’s okay to try everything you can. Well, if you want to act, act, if you want to play sports, act, if you want to be a chess master, play sports. Don’t be afraid to pursue your dreams. You don’t know what you can do until you try.
