  1. Don’t forget, Internet Safety Parent Night is being held tonight, November 2nd, at the Avon High School Performing Arts Center, from 6 to 8 pm This is an adults-only event!   2. It’s that time of year again! Time for the Avon Lions Club annual Night at the Races fundraiser. This year the event will be held on November 19th at Tom’s Country Place, 3442 Stoney Ridge Road. According to cleveland.com, “Doors will open at 6 pm and the first race starts at 7 pm There will be horse races, a 50/50 raffle, sideboards, gift baskets and other activities. The event is the club’s primary fundraising event. Past proceeds have been used for an interactive music play area called “Harmony Circle” at Avon’s Every Child Playground, to help with the purchase of a police dog (Jax) for the Avon Police Department, to help construct the Great Cleveland Fisher House, and to help construct the Lorain County Health & Dentistry.” Hope to see you there!
