November is here and, as usual, it comes packed with big games, arriving in time for the holiday period.

A long-awaited God of War sequel, a completely new Sonic experience, the annual release of the biggest football management simulation series and the next generation of Pokemon – these are some of the new games to be excited about this month.

So without further ado, let’s go through the 10 best games releasing in November 2022.

Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers is coming right after the famous blue hedgehog’s 30th anniversary to bring a new experience, in a world that will be more open than ever.

You get the familiar 3D platforming combined with an action-adventure game featuring challenges, puzzles and secrets.

Sonic Frontiers releases on November 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Football Manager 2023

Football Manager 2023 is adding a tonne of new features to the series, while the computer-controlled managers and players are smarter and animations during matches look much better.

For the first time in Football Manager, the game will feature all of Europe’s top club tournaments, including the Champions League, thanks to a license agreement with UEFA.

Supporter Confidence is another new feature that will represent the influence of a team’s fans on decision-making.

Football Manager 2023 is coming on November 8 for PC, with a Console version for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, a Touch edition for Switch and Apple Arcade, and a Mobile game for Android and iOS devices.

God of War Ragnarok

If you liked the 2018 reboot of the God of War series, picking up God of War Ragnarok is a no-brainer.

Ragnarok brings more of the same things that made the previous game a huge success, but everything’s even better – a deeper story, more bosses, improved puzzles, and more.

We’ve shared our first impressions from the opening hours of the game in our God of War Ragnarok preview and a full review is coming in the early hours of November 4.

God of War Ragnarök releases on November 9 and is a PlayStation exclusive for PS5 and PS4.

Pentiment

Pentiment is a crime-solving adventure game set in 16th-century Bavaria.

You play as journeyman artist Andreas Maler, who’s involved in a murder investigation story that spans 25 years.

The narrative and the choices you make throughout the story are what matters in Pentiment, which is coming as a free day-one release for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Pentiment is releasing on November 5 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

The next version of Call of Duty’s free battle royale shooter arrives right after the release of Modern Warfare II last month.

Warzone 2.0 is spicing up the standard battle royale structure by adding multiple circles on the map that will shrink independently and eventually converge in a single battleground towards the end of a game.

There will also be more computer-controlled enemies guarding spots on the map containing valuable loot. A new extraction mode called DMZ is also coming with Warzone 2.0.

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 arrives on November 16 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Goat Simulator 3

Goat Simulator 3 is coming even though there wasn’t Goat Simulator 2 because that series can’t be bothered to stick to rules and order.

You get more over-the-top goat action and a new co-op mode for up to 4 players.

Goat Simulator 3 releases on November 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me

The Devil in Me concludes the first “season” of The Dark Pictures Anthology survival horror series.

Like previous chapters, the game is an interactive drama with a multilinear narrative that players can steer by making decisions at key story moments.

The new game adds features like character inventory, tool-based puzzles, and new moves such as running, jumping, and climbing.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is coming November 18 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The next generation of Pokemon arrives in a brand-new region called Paldea, where everything is unmistakably inspired by Spain and Portugal.

After the success of Pokemon Legends: Arceus earlier this year, this new pair of games will be the first mainline Pokemon titles to be set in a fully open world.

Nintendo has released a bunch of trailers showingcasing new features and Pokemon, including the three starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, and the games look promising.

A new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet special edition model of the Nintendo Switch OLED console is also coming in time for the launch, so you can play the games in style.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are coming on November 18 as Nintendo Switch exclusives.

Evil West

Evil West is a first-person shooter game where you play as vampire hunter Jesse Rentier who must protect the American West from bandits and supernatural monsters.

Expect powerful bosses akin to those you find in Souls games, combos à la Devil May Cry and the cinematic camera angle and melee finishers of 2018’s God of War.

Evil West is coming November 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Darktide is an FPS game set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, in which you get a similar co-op experience to fan-favourite Warhammer: Vermintide 2, but with more ranged combat instead of hand-to-hand fights.

There will be four hero classes to play as – Veteran, Zealot, Ogryn, and Psyker, and extensive options to customize your character’s looks.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide releases November 30 for PC and is coming to Xbox Series X|S at a later date to be confirmed.
